ITED (Italian Tsunami Effects Database) is the first database description of tsunami effects observed along the Italian coast from 79 A.D. to today.
Starting from the general descriptions of the 72 Italian tsunamis present in EMTCv2, 300 observations of tsunami effects in different locations along the Italian coasts have been identified.
A Webapp has been created in Esri ArcGIS system to consult ITED data and, by clicking on the different observation points, it is possible to obtain all the information (description of the effects, runup, flooding, etc.). In each location it is also possible to know the 'tsunami history': a graph that contains all the observations related to the tsunamis that have hit that location during the history.
