On World Oceans Day 2021, the INGV Tsunami Alert Center (CAT), publishes a story map (in IT) describing the tsunami alert activities carried out from 2017 to date in the Mediterranean Sea.
This year, the recurrence takes on greater relevance as it is part of the first year of the UN Ocean Decade (2021-2030), the UN Decade dedicated to sea sciences for sustainable development. One of its main objectives is to improve scientific knowledge of our seas through the development of management, sustainability and resilience capacities.
